K-State has announced that the public can hear the story of Hale Library as the ribbon-cutting and official grand reopening are celebrated at a virtual event Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

"The Tale of Hale: A Storytelling and Ribbon Cutting Celebration" will be a story narrated by K-Staters as they illustrate what is now a 21st century, next-generation library. Guests include Dean of Libraries Lori Goetsch, President Richard Myers and K-State students.

You can RSVP online at ksufoundation.org/rsvp/libraries/ or by calling 785-775-2040. Viewing link and details will be sent following your completed registration.

Hale Library was badly damaged in a fire on May 22,2018 and renovation and rebuilding work became necessary.
