(RILEY COUNTY, KS – April 20, 2022) Riley County health officials confirm that two new COVID-19 cases have been identified and there have been 19 additional recoveries for the week of April 10-16. There are currently four known active COVID-19 cases in the county.&nbsp; No (0) COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. “In Kansas, the status of COVID-19 has changed from a pandemic to an endemic,” said Local Health Officer Julie Gibbs. “This means that COVID-19 is still here, but we now have the tools to reduce its impact.”
