Manhattan city officials announced that crews responded Tuesday morning to a pair of different water main breaks.
Water will be off until further notice on Stagg Hill Rd, from Galaxy (this includes the houses at the south end of Galaxy) west through Rosencutter, and from Ft Riley Blvd south on Rosencutter through to the transfer station. (Pecan Circle, Sky-vue Ln, and Briggs are included). Crews are on site working to make emergency repairs to a water main break. We will restore service as quickly as we can. The eastbound lane of Stagg Hill Road is also closed through Sky-vue Ln to allow crews room to work. Please use caution in this area.
Water is also off on Westwood Rd (Poyntz Ave curve) from Oak St through approximately Sunset Ave for emergency repairs to a water main break. The northbound lane of Westwood will be closed while crews work to make repairs and restore service.
