Brandie Kae Max, born July 22, 1988, passed away August 5, 2024. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose vibrant spirit and warm heart touched everyone she met.
Brandie was the great-granddaughter of Margaret Barnett, granddaughter of Michelle Ciesielski, and daughter of Tracie and Maurice Dingemanse, as well as Michael Max (Heather). Loving sister to Samantha Friedel (Peter) and Michael Max (Dakota). She was a loving aunt to Augustus and Everett Friedel, and a beloved niece to Katie Feldt (Lloyd), Joetta Glessner (Michael), Leslie Dugan (Joe), and Chelsi Sterling (Robert), Tom Martin (Monica). Brandie also had many dear cousins, along with a special family of the heart: Kim, Katey, and Ashley Baldwin and David Koch. She was a devoted dog mom to her beloved Leo.
Brandie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Cheryl Barnett, and her grandfathers, Joe Lynch and William Barnett.
Brandie was known for her caring nature, thoughtful presence, and infectious sense of humor. She was the biggest cheerleader for those she loved, always shining brightly with her creativity and artistic abilities. An exceptional cook with a passion for learning, Brandie’s educational pursuits reflected her love for discovery and growth.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local charity of your choice in Brandie's honor in care of Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502
