ST. CHARLES COUNTY —A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 9a.m. Wednesday in St. Charles County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Breyanna M. Carbone, 22, Fort Riley, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of MO 370.
The driver swerved avoid striking an other vehicle in a construction zone. The car struck the median wall then traveled across all lanes of traffic and struck the opposite wall.
EMS transported Carbone to SSM Health St. Joseph Lake St. Louis. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
