RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident and then arrested just after 12:30a.m. Monday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Kelly Ware, 44, of Manhattan had crashed near the intersection of Ratone Lane and North Juliette Avenue in Manhattan.
EMS transported Ware to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. After release, police arrested Ware on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear and theft. The original failure to appear charge was for driving while suspended. Ware was issued a total bond of $4,500 and was confined at the time of this report.
