MORRIS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations
Just after 9p.m. September 25, police received reports of a potential drug distribition in the area of 956 K Avenue in Council Grove, according to a media release.
Police obtained a search warrant and with the assistance of the Morris Co. Sheriff’s Office established a perimeter around the home.
As officers conducted surveillance in the area, multiple gunshots were fired from the property. A Special Response Team from Junction City was called to assist in the arrest of 42-year-old Jacob T.L. Hutchinson of Council Grove. He is in custody on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, aggravated child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Lyon County Jail.
