RILEY COUNTY - A Community Survey is now available to provide feedback to the Riley County Police Department, including the public's opinion on reducing crime rates, and continuing to improve the quality of life for citizens of Riley County.
The survey is available through December 31, 2022, and the results will be used by the RCPD when making plans for future law enforcement tactics and best practices.
“We want to make sure we are listening to those we serve and hearing their concerns,” said Interim Director Kurt Moldrup. “This survey will help us greatly moving forward to decide how we police and if we need to make any changes.”
RCPD is one of Kansas' Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) accredited departments. As part of the accreditation process, the police department must invite the community to provide input of how successful the police department is at meeting the professional standards set in the accreditation process.
The survey can be found at: rileycountypolice.org/survey.
