Tammy G. Nivert, age 63, of Manhattan, KS, died October 9, 2023 at her residence after an 18-year battle with cancer.
She was born in Tulsa, OK on August 31st, 1960 to Lloyd Robert “Bud” and Ruby Laverne (Hughes) Rada.
Tammy attended MATC, where she acquired an associate degree in accounting. She went on to work for Drs. Janasek & Oberhelman, Konza Community Health Clinic, Sykes and Mercy Regional Health Center.
She enjoyed reading, crafting, painting, and gardening. She was also an avid player of Final Fantasy, “Aemeny”, and World of Warcraft, “Grand Marshall Leylari”.
She is survived by her three sons: Daniel Arnwine, Robert Nivert and Christopher Nivert, all of Manhattan; three siblings: Dennis Rada, Sandra “Sandy” (Wald) and her twin Rick Rada; and four grandchildren: Alexander, Alexia, and Korbyn Arnwine, and Leigha Gallagher.
Cremation is planned with private family services.
The Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS, 66502, is assisting the family with arrangements.
