The City of Wamego has issued a boil water advisory for areas north of Highway 24. This advisory will affect Wamego Middle School on Thursday, April 9. School will remain in session on a normal schedule.
Bottled water will be available for students at breakfast, lunch, and throughout the day. Families are also encouraged to send a water bottle with their student, if possible. Drinking fountains will be turned off and unavailable for use. WMS kitchen staff will use boiled or bottled water as needed. The district kitchen, where food is prepared, is not directly affected by the advisory.
This advisory only affects Wamego Middle School. Other schools in USD 320 are not impacted. Please contact the WMS office or the district office with any questions. Updates will be shared through ParentSquare as needed.
