U.S. Senator jerry Moran has announced that $2, 552, 834 in Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants will be allocated to support Kansas law enforcement. Riley County will receive $19,628 while Junction City will receive $11,788.
Moran said as the leading source of federal funding coming from the Department of Justice, the JAG program is a vital instrument to ensure our state and local law enforcement are equipped with the necessary tools and resources they need to keep our communities safe.
