Susan Adamchak will be the mayor of Manhattan while Karen McCulloh has been chosen mayor pro tem for the next year. The city commission reorganized Tuesday night.
New commissioners Jim Morison, Larry Fox and Andrew Von Lintel took their oaths of office.
Adamchak said that she plans to continue the practice of hosting a monthly coffee with the commissoner.
In other business the commission learned that the the MLK Jr. celebation will extend from Jan. 17 - 24 at the Manhattan Arts Center. There will be a community celebration on Jan. 17.
America 250 nationwide commemoration activities will occcur this year. There will be support for communiy centered America 250 efforts in Manhattan
