Kathleen June (Mitchell) Wade, 69, of Manhattan, KS, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Riley County, KS. She was born on March 13, 1953 in Osborne, KS to Doyle and Lola (O'Connor) Mitchell. Kathy married Marvin Wade in Clay Center, KS in July 1991. Kathy was soft-spoken, kind-hearted, compassionate and charitable. She loved family, nature, music, travel and learning of all types. She earned a bachelor’s degree in horticulture, master’s degrees in interior design and speech-language pathology, and was a licensed realtor. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kirk Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Wade of Manhattan, KS; and sisters Joleen (Rex) Kats of Osborne, KS; Joyce (Joe) Matal of Topeka, KS; and Dodie Mitchell of Topeka, KS. In respect of Kathy’s wishes, no visitation, funeral service, celebration-of-life event, or reception has been scheduled. No memorial has been identified.&nbsp;&nbsp;
