Tueanetaa "Taa/MaMa" Hudge, 71, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on January 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband and friends. She was born on February 27, 1952, in Bangkok, Thailand. She spent most of her life in Thailand until moving to the United States. In the year of 1981, she met her loving husband Lee and spent 43 years together.
Living in Junction City, she owned the club, Sugar Shack for 20 years. While running the club, she was able to keep up with her pool skills. Her friends and family will dearly miss her birthday dinners that she would make for her loved ones. One of her most popular dishes was shrimp fried rice.
After retirement, she decided she wanted to continue to work, so she got a job at Smithfield where she stayed for 21 years. She made an impact with everyone one of the employees and she will be greatly missed there. Her family will forever miss watching their Kansas City Chiefs play and cheering for her favorite quarter back, Patrick (Ma-Homie) Mahomes.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lee Edward Hudge, Jr.; one son, Marwin Lee Hudge, Sr.; two grandkids, Marwin Lee Hudge, Jr. and Tya Asia Hudge and her closest friends, Chawee, John and Maria, Henry, Jackie, Ella, Patrick and Helga, Pineapple and "Big Legs", Louie, and her honorary son, Chris, who cared and loved her like his own.
A visitation will take place at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at10:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest privately at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Manhattan, Kansas.
