Starting Friday (September 12), a portion of the 1100 block of Fremont Street will be closed by a local contractor as part of an adjacent construction project.
The closure is expected to last for 4 weeks for the installation of residential water and fire protection infrastructure.
Access to City Park from 11th Street remains by way of a detour to Laramie Street and 12th Street, as pictured below.
Please drive safely in this area, follow signage and look out for construction workers.
Expect light to moderate traffic and some delays on 11th Street, 12th Street, 14th Street, Fremont Street, Laramie Street, and Poyntz Avenue. The estimate is about 4 weeks to complete this work, depending on weather.
