
RILEY COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Thursday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Helen Curry, 16, of Riley was eastbound in 5700 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd.
The Ford crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Rebecca Slack, 58, of Manhattan head-on.

Slack was life-flighted to Stormont Vail in Topeka for treatment of lower extremity injuries. Curry and a passenger of the Equinox, Mark Danford, 57, of Manhattan, were transported to Via Christi for treatment of their injuries.
The RCPD released no additional details early Friday.
