
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. – A registered Kansas offender is back in jail on new allegations.
Just before 3 p.m. May 26, a Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot in Holton on an Acura TL. The driver, Daniel Charles Carlow, 67, of Hoyt, was arrested following the stop, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
Carlow was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges that include four counts of aggravated offender registration violations, one count of offender registration violation, and criminal carry of a weapon by a convicted felon.
He has been listed as a Violent Offender in Kansas since a conviction for an aggravated assault on a law enforcent officer in 2022, according to the KBI Offender Registry.
