THOMAS COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just before 7p.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ram 1500 driven by Jerry G. Dewitt, 75, Prairie View, was eastbound on U.S. 83 at County Road 35.
The vehicle traveled left of center and collided with a westbound 2005 E350 driven by Casey A. Quagliano, 25, Colby.
Dewitt and Quagliano were pronounced dead from their injuries. EMS transported a passenger in the Ford identified as 24-year-old Sabryn R. Quagliano of Colby to Citizen's Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP crash log.
