SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal Friday morning crash have identified the victim as 47-year-old Jeramie Santee of Wichita, according to Officer Chad Ditch

Just after 8a.m., police were dispatched to an injury accident on Pawnee just below the Interstate 135 overpass in Wichita. First responders located Santee unconscious and not breathing. They began providing life-saving measures.

EMS pronounced Santee deceased on the scene, according to Ditch.

The investigation revealed that Santee was driving 2019 Chevy Silverado westbound on Pawnee and collided with a concrete pillar below Interstate 135. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries occurred. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to Ditch.
