MORGAN COUNTY —A Kansas man drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Delphine M. Mwombeki, 33, Lenexa, was swimming in Raccoon Hollow Cove, located on the 0.3-mile mark of the Lake of the Ozark’s Gravois Arm, just before 6p.m. on Saturday. He jumped into the water from a dock and never resurfaced.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and released to Phillips Funeral home of Eldon. The patrol released no additional details.
