Pottawatomie County officials reported on Friday that there were 1 new positive COVID-19 cases.
In the county there are 56 active cases, down 13 from the previous report. Four people are currently hospitalized. Eight people have died.

he second “phase” for vaccines has not started yet. We are not sure when they will open this up. As soon as we have more information, we will share that with you.
The Pottawatomie County health Department is still currently working on getting medical personnel vaccinated. They initially received 100 doses, those are gone. More doses were received yesterday and are going out to health care workers from our list.
