The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has ordered the Central Mall in Salina to remain closed for safety concerns following the April 27 storm. According to management of the mall, it will remain closed until further notice and all entrances will remain locked.
Dunham's Sports, District Eat & Play and Taylor’s Twirlers will remain open according to the mall.
Additionally, Ross Dress for Less is expected to open once its current renovations are complete.
The following is a statement from the Central Mall in Salina:
Notice to Central Mall Tenants, Patrons, and Community Members, per guidance from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Central Mall is closed until further notice.
For the safety of all tenants, employees, and visitors, all mall entrances will remain locked, and no access to tenant spaces or interior mall areas will be permitted until further notice.
