Kansas felon is back in jail after a traffic stop

OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas felon on drug allegations. 

Just before 2:30p.m. June 20, a Sheriff's investigator conducted a traffic stop in the 7500 block of East U.S. 56 Highway for an alleged traffic violation, according to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.

Patrick C. Bryant, 46, of Topeka was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Criminal use of a weapon.  

Bryant has previous convictions for drugs and forgery, according to the Kansas Deparatment of Corrections.
