SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Wichita.
On Sunday night, police were dispatched to a shooting in the 1100 Block of South Webb Road in Wichita, according to an online statement from Officer Kris Gupilan.
At the scene, first responders found a man inside a car who had been shot. EMS transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary investigation indicates a disturbance occurred between an unknown suspect and the vicim in the parking lot of a nearby park. After the shooting, one of the suspects was observed running from the vehicle, southeast through the park.
Police are working to determine just what happened and are asking anyone who lives near the park who may have seen anything to contact investigators.
