KANSAS CITY —A juvenile was injured in accident just after 5:30a.m. Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri.
A marked KCPD, blue Ford Explorer was traveling non-emergent eastbound on Armor, according to KCPD Officer Alanya Gonzalez. Just east of Tracy Street, a girl ran into the roadway from between two parked vehicles, traveling north to south, directly in front of the patrol vehicle.
The right front end of the patrol vehicle struck the girl throwing her to the pavement. She was transported to a local hospital with reported critical injuries. The two officers in the patrol vehicle were uninjured in the collision. The accident remains under investigation, according to Gonzalez.
