K-State Athletics announced that the Sweet 16 Cats are hitting the road Thursday, The KSU women's basketball team will be leaving from the Ice Family Basketball Center, located on the east side of Bramlage Coliseum (2201 Kimball Ave), at 11am. Come show your support, cheer them on, and wish them good luck as they head to Spokane, WA for the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Be sure to wear purple and bring signs.
Enter through Gate 8 off of Kimball Avenue and head towards the south end of the parking lot in front of the Ice Family Basketball Center. Please note that the Denison/Kimball intersection will be closed.
