ELLSWORTH COUNTY —Kansas Highway Patrol reports more drivers traveling well above the posted speed limit, despite a statewide campaign to crack down on excessive speeding.
On Monday, KHP Lt. Brown in Ellsworth County stopped a vehicle on I-70 westbound going 106 mph in a 75 mph zone, according to a social media report.
In addition to speeding, the driver was not traveling in the right lane like they should. Speeding and not following lane rules puts everyone in danger. The ticket was for $393.00.
Please, drive safe, follow the limits, and keep right unless you’re passing. Report aggressive drivers on the highways to *47.
