
JOHNSON COUNTY —A 10-year-old Kanas girl has died days after she and her family were involved in a crash while traveling to a soccer tournament in Nashville, Tennessee, according to a social media report from St. Ann Catholic School, 7241 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas.
Annie Koester, who attended the school died Saturday night from injuries she sustained in a crash Wednesday, July 15, and had been placed on life support.
According to an online fundraiser " On July 15, the Koester family was involved in a tragic car accident while traveling from Kansas City to Nashville for a soccer tournament. Since that day, their family, friends, school community, and parish have continued to pray for their healing and recovery. The Koesters represent the very best of us. They are an amazing family who would do anything for their friends, neighbors, and community. They have always been there for others, and now we have the opportunity to be there for them."
The school held a mass on Sunday evening to support the Koester family.
