FINNEY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 3:30a.m. Sunday in Finney County.
Garden City Police reported a Chevy Camaro driven by Alejandro Alvis Gonzalez, 26, of Garden City, was northbound on Schulman Avenue and the U.S. Highway 50/83 bypass. The car traveled off the road, struck a traffic sign, and then collided with a concrete culvert.
Gonzalez was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police released no additional details. The accident remains under investigation.
