The Wamego Red Raiders (6-2), will open postseason play at home this Friday when they play host to the El Dorado Wildcats (0-8).
This will be the second all-time meeting between the two sides, with Wamego defeating the Wildcats 21-18 back in the 2020 playoffs.
"We are excited about the opportunity to be a one-seed in the playoffs and have home-field advantage," Raider head coach Weston Moody said. "It's a win-or-go-home scenario every week so the stakes are very high, but our guys are ready for that journey."
The winner of this matchup will advance to the round of 16 in this year's 4A playoff to take on either Winfield (4-4) or Rose Hill (3-5).
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 at Wamego High School.
