FORT SCOTT, Kan. — The Manhattan High School Indians advanced to the Kansas 6A State Baseball Semifinals on Friday night, defeating Olathe West 5-3.&nbsp;

The Indians overcame a three-run opening frame from the Owls, capped off by three of their own in the fourth inning and a dominating pitching performance over the final six innings, allowing just five hits in the game.&nbsp;

The Indians will now move on to take on the Overland Park-Blue Valley Tigers at approximately 1:15pm with a trip to the State Championship on the line.&nbsp;
