KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal carjacking in Kansas City reported early Friday they located the vehicle, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino. Police have not reported an arrest.

The victim is the registered owner of the vehicle.
Just after 1p.m. Wednesday, a suspect was attempting to steal a white Ford F350 in the 2900 Block of Paseo in Kansas City, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
The owner attempted to stop the suspect from stealing the truck. The suspect drove away while dragging the owner with the vehicle. The victim was dislodged from the vehicle. and thrown to the pavement. The suspect left the scene in the stolen Ford without stopping. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to DiMaratino.
