WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a fatal motorbike crash in Wyandotte County reported a second teen has died from his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Kyler Catron of Kansas City, Kansas, according to The Kansas City Kansas Police Deparatment Traffic Fatality Unit.
Just after 10:30p.m. July 30, three individuals on motorbikes were traveling westbound on State Avenue on when they collided with a vehicle that was turning north onto N. 50th Terrace.
Emillio Pereyra, 17, of Kansas City, Kansas was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second motorbike operator later identified as Catron was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The third motorbike operator and the driver of the other vehicle were not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
