KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 4:15p.m. Wednesday, patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 4300 block of Paseo, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
Upon arrival officers were directed to a convenience store on Paseo. Inside they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. KCFD EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. A short time later the victim was pronounced deceased by hospital personnel.
This is being investigated as a homicide. The preliminary investigation indicates that there was a verbal altercation inside the store between multiple individuals that led to shots being fired and the victim being struck. Two subjects of interest were taken into custody pending further investigation. Police released no additional details.
