
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Three men accused in a murder last weekend in Wichita made their first appearances in court this week.
Adonis Andrews, 47; Jorge Romero, 48 and and Shaun O’Brien, 41, all of Wichita were each charged with 1st degree murder, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.

Just before 4am on April 30, police were dispatched to a shooting that took place in the 2800 block of East Stadium Drive in Wichita, according to Officer Juan Rebolledo.
Once on the scene officers located a victim identified as 36-year-old Christian Santiago of Wichita in the front passenger seat of a white SUV deceased.

Later that day, police booked 47-year-old Adonis C. Andrews into the Sedgwick County Jail in connection with Santiago's murder.
Investigators also identified Jorge Romero, Jr., as a suspect. Police located him Tuesday in the 1200 block of W Casado Street and made an arrest. Police booked Obrien in connection with the crime on Tuesday afternoon. Bond for each of the men is $250,000.
It is believed the suspects and the victim are known to each other and this was not a random incident.
