OSAGE COUNTY –Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just before 5:30p.m. December 21, an Osage County K9 unit conducted a traffic stop at 305th and Paulen Road, near Melvern, for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.
During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.
The driver of the vehicle, Joseph J. Steinke, 44, of Melvern was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on suspicion of Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of paraphernalia, Driving while license suspended, Interference with law enforcement and an Expired registration.
