BARTON COUNTY —The Kansas Fire Marshal and officials with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating an explosion at a home in Barton County.Just before 5p.m. Thursday, police responded to the explosion and fire at a home in the 1200 Block of North Main Street in Hoisington, according to Police Chief Kenton Doze.One person identified as Kyle Stout was airlifted to a Wichita hospital for treatment, according to Doze. The home was severely damaged but Doze did not have a dollar amount of damage on Friday afternoon.
