It will be the Wildcats’ third morning game this season and second in as many weeks.
K-State is looking to snap a four-game losing streak to the Mountaineers, including a two-game skid in Morgantown. The Wildcats’ last win in the series was a 24-23 home victory in the 2015 regular-season finale, which made K-State bowl eligible that season. K-State’s last victory at West Virginia was on a Thursday night the year prior in a 26-20 triumph.
K-State, which is ranked in the top 20 this week in both the Associated Press Top 25 (20th) and the Amway Coaches’ Poll (19th), hosts Kansas in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown this Saturday inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The game, which kicks at 11 a.m., will be shown on FS1
