KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Kansas City.
Just before 4a.m. Friday, crews responded to a reported house fire near 110th and N. Lewis, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews reported heavy fire on arrival and initiated interior operations using two handlines. Searches of the structure came back all clear. The occupants were able to evacuate prior to KCFD arrival. No injuries were reported at this incident.
Red Cross was ordered for 2 adults and 2 pets. Authorities have not released a damage estimate.
