Brigade put 13 runs up in win over the Kansas City Knights

Third, fourth and fifth innings were huge for the Junction City Brigade during their 13-6 win Saturday night over the Kansas City Knights at Rathert Field. Twelve runs were scored during those innings combined.

Garrett Redden hit a home run and Joseph Kinneberg collected two doubles, a single and drew a walk for the brigade. 

Rodney Tofoya, 57, "The Ageless Arm" pitched four and two-thirds innings for the Knights but gave up 12 hits, nine earned runs, walked two and struck out three batters during his time on the mound. He was seeking his 456th career pitching victory against only 97 losses.

Junction City will host Sabetha Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
