Four Junction City Brigade swept the Baldwin City Blues ( 18-10 ) 3-2 and 4-1 in a doubleheader at Rathert Field Saturday night. Over the course of the twin bill the Brigade hit four home runs. Quinton Carlberg hit two, Carson Hunt and Edward Scott one apiece.
Junction City got solid pitching performances from Brigdon Parker, Connor Holle and Cade Perkins. The Brigade are in first place in the Mid Plains League standings.
Junction City will host the Kansas City Monarchs at Rathert Field at 7 p.m. Monday.
