RENO COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon following an investigation into an alleged violent altercation.
On Thursday, a subject alleged 40-year-old Billy Joe Greene of Hutchinson struck the victim in the face causing a laceration, according to a media release from the Reno County Sheriff.
The injury sustained required medical attention. The victim received several stitches and may require corrective surgery.
Detectives from the Reno County Sheriff’s Office arrested Greene on requested charges of Kidnapping and Aggravated Battery.
Greene has a previous conviction for Driving Suspended 3rd or subsequent conviction, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
