SHAWNEE COUNTY –Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital with critical injuries.
Just 11:07 a.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of SW Boswell in Topeka on multiple calls reporting of shots fired in the area, according to Lt. Manuel Munoz.
Officers located a male victim in back yard of 1419 SW Boswell suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers on the scene transported a witness to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning.
