RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Wednesday in Riley County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 GMC Sierra driven by Ruth M.  Patrick, 59, Manhattan, was stopped on Kansas 13 and U.S. 24 in Manhattan.

The driver attempted to make a left turn in front of a westbound 2012 Toyota Camry driven by John F. Bosch, 64, Clay Center.  The Camry struck the GMC. The impact caused the pickup to go into a violent spin into the eastbound lanes. An eastbound 2014 Honda Ridgeline driven by Kelly J. Adams, 63, Manhattan, struck the GMC.

EMS transported Bosch to Via Christi in Manhattan. Patrick and Adams were not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
