KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating a road-rage shooting have made an arrest.
At approximately 4:30p.m. Thursday, a citizen was the victim of a road rage shooting, according to the Excelsior Springs Police Deparatment. The incident began at Walmart and the shooting occurred at Schwartz and 69 Highway near the ES Animal Clinic.
The suspect left in an unknown direction. The vehicle was described as a full size Chevrolet van, dark blue, a spare tire on the rear door and an unknown rectangular type equipment attacked to the trailer hitch and with Ohio license plate JGV 2365.
Driver is described as an older white male. Just before 8p.m. Thursday, police reported with the help of the Clay County, Missouri Sheriff's office they had identified and taken the suspect into custody. The name of the suspect has not been released.
