SALINE COUNTY— A school bus was involved in an accident just after 8a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Braysen Lee Jervah, 16, was eastbound on Kansas 4 Highway at Ohio Street.
The driver attempted to pass a 2012 Bluebird school bus driven by Becky Hannemann, 65, Assaria, that had slowed to make a northbound turn onto Ohio Street. During this passing maneuver, the driver’s side of the car struck the drivers side quarter panel of the school bus.
