WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities released the of the victim and charging information from a homicide in the 300 block of S. 8th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Mark Doran Kline a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, according to a statement from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department
B’anca Monet Guess, 34, of the home, has been charged in Wyandotte County with second-degree murder. She is currently being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
Just before 8p.m. Friday, a woman called 911 dispatch to report a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of S. 8th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a man later identified as Kline, the victim of apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene. A suspect, later identified as Guess, was taken into custody on scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Police released no additional details.
