Jerome Tang schedules summer basketball camps

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State men’s basketball head coach Jerome Tang has announced his first-ever summer camp schedule, which includes three camps running from June 10-16, for area youths on the university campus.

The first-year head coach, along with his coaching staff, will direct these summer camps, which begin with the Parent/Child Camp (grades K-6) from Friday-Saturday, June 10-11. The camp season also includes the Junior Wildcat (ages 4-7) and Wildcat Camps (grades 3-6), which run from Tuesday-Thursday, June 14-16.  

All camps will be played at the Ice Family Basketball Center on the K-State campus. These camps are open to all entrants, limited only by number, age and grade level. The camper’s grade level is the one heading into the 2022-23 school year.

The Parent/Child Camp offers participants a great opportunity to spend a special weekend with the K-State basketball team on Friday-Saturday, June 10-11. Campers will enjoy learning drills and playing games with the players and coaches. All participants will be provided with housing, dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday, a K-State Basketball T-shirt and campers will receive a K-State Basketball.  

Registration will begin on Friday, June 10 at 5 p.m., CT and the camp will begin at 6 p.m., CT. The camp will conclude on Saturday, June 11 at noon. The cost is $250 per pair and $100 for each additional child.

The Junior Wildcat and Wildcat Camps will be conducted from Tuesday-Thursday, June 14-16. The Junior Wildcat Camp, which runs from 9-11 a.m., CT, is available to campers ages 4-7 at a cost of $125 per camper. The Wildcat Camp, which runs from 1-5 p.m., CT, is available to youth in grades 3-6 at a cost of $175 per camper.
