
KANSAS CITY, KAN. – A federal grand jury in Kansas City, Kansas, returned an indictment charging a Kansas man with robbing a bank.

According to court documents, Daniel J. Young, 41, of Kansas City, Kansas, was indicted on one count of bank robbery and one count of use of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, according to the United State's Attorney.
In June 2026, Young is accused of brandishing a firearm while robbing a bank on Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas, and using intimidation to force an employee to give him money.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are investigating the case.
