SEDGWICK COUNTY—A cause of a weekend fire that slowed traffic on the Kansas Turnpike is under investigation.
Just after 7a.m. Saturday, fire units were dispatched to a reported Semi Truck on fire on Interstate 35 just north of the Belle Plaine service area, according to Mulvate Fire and Rescue.
Crews found a Cement Mixer truck heavily involved in fire. There were no injuries were reported. Authorities released no additional details.
